PT. Century Batteries Indonesia is an affiliate company of PT. Astra Otoparts which specialized in lead acid battery production for four wheeled vehicles and also for non-automotive applications. Founded in 1971 and located at Jakarta and Karawang.
THE MILESTONES
Our company was founded in September-17-1971.
Our first product was JIS standard automotive batteries with INCOE as the brand.
Our products first exported to Saudi Arabia.
Our company start producing photovoltaic batteries and received compliance certificate from World Bank Project Support Group.
Our company developed and start producing grid that has better antimony composition to achieve higher battery performance.
Our company developed Deep Cycle Battery variants in a form of golf car battery with standart capacity required by Australian Standard Battery.
Our company start developing new products such as Gelled Electrolyte Battery and Maintenance Free Battery based on JIS standard.
Our company start mass production of maintenance-free batteries based on Japan standard (JIS) and Australia (AS) for export. Also producing hybrid batteries based on SNI and JIS standard for domestic market.
Our company developed and start producing maintenance-free batteries based on DIN standard. Also start mass production of photovoltaic batteries with maintenance-free technologies for solar panel consumers.
Our company start providing Original Equipment (OE) Battery for automotive companies in Indonesia.
Our company built a new factory located at Mitra Karawang industrial zone, west Java – Indonesia.
Our company developed and start producing MCB (Motor Cycle Btteries) MF for domestic market and also HD (Heavy Duty) batteries.
Our company developed and start producing HD MF batteries type DIN B.
Our company developed and start producing batteries type DIN A, DIN C and DIN B 170 Ah TELECOM.
Our company developed and start producing N200 HD MF battery.
Our company start producing stationary batteries such as: Stationary Gell, Stationary AGM, DIN MF Low Height and DIN B MF 180 Ah, N100 HD MF, N120 HD MF, N150 HD MF and start developing Start Stop Battery.
